Pokemon GO is in the process of rolling out support for Facebook account linking. Not only will the sign-in process be simpler, but the link also provides more log in options and helps preserve your progress across devices.

Players will be able to link their Trainer profile to your Facebook and Google accounts, and use any of those credentials to access the game. This means that if you currently log in with the Pokemon Trainer Club, you could link your Trainer profile to your Google and Facebook accounts, and then use whichever account you prefer in the future.

Linking profiles to a Google or Facebook account is simple. Just visit the settings and choose the platform you’d like to link.

Digital Foundry has a very look at Dark Souls: Remastered on Switch based on the brief snippets of footage shown during last week’s Nintendo Direct. The game is still a couple of months out and changes could be made, but the analysis is rather interesting.

Digital Foundry reconfirms what Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have said previously. Dark Souls: Remastered will indeed run at 1080p docked (and 720p in portable mode). On the whole it’s a 2.8x increase over the last-gen versions of the game.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove gives you everything you need to play Shovel Knight on Switch. But Yacht Club also released Specter of Torment separately, which some may have opted for if they played the original game on other platforms like 3DS or Wii U.

If you’re one of these people, you might be interested to hear about a unique discount. A sale is now in place where if you’ve bought Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment previously, you can receive a 40% discount on Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove.

You should see the discount automatically when viewing Treasure Trove on the eShop if you bought Specter of Torment. Also, it’s available automatically for new sales of Specter of Torment. Note that discount percentage may vary slightly based on region.
