Box Hedge Games created a Kickstarter for the Mega Man-inspired Super Mighty Power Man earlier this month. However, the campaign has been cancelled.

Rather than pulling the plug on the Kickstarter due to concerns about funding, Box Hedge Games said in an update that the team has received interest from “several publishers.” The developer is now “currently discussing with them alternatives on how to secure the development and the release of Super Mighty Power Man.” The game should be funded and released at some point.

Here’s the full update from Box Hedge:

The possibility of Final Fantasy XIV on Switch is something we’ve heard about for awhile now. Director Naoki Yoshida first mentioned the interest there back in 2015 when Nintendo’s console was still known as NX. He’s reiterated that interest a few different times throughout 2017.

Fortunately, nothing has changed. Yoshida still wants to make Final Fantasy XIV happen on Switch since they want to reach as many people as possible, and apparently “positive discussions” are taking place. The only requirement he has is for everyone to play in the same world.

Square Enix has kicked off a new sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It features a selection of classic DS titles, a few 3DS games like Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut for Wii U.

You can find the full selection of games on sale here. Just be warned that shipping can be a bit of a bother, especially if you’re only interested in a single item.

Inti Creates updated the Switch version of Blaster Master Zero this week with a brand new Blaster Master Zero mode. Take a look at some footage below.

Nintendo began distribution the new, major update for Splatoon 2 last night. Version 2.0.0 added a ton of content, including stages, gear, and so much more.

One unintended side effect of the update relates to the Great Zapfish. Strangely, after applying the patch, it is removed entirely. Nintendo did at least say on the Japanese Twitter page for Splatoon 2 that this will be addressed with a future update.

Players can see the Great Zapfish after finishing Splatoon 2’s Hero Mode. You can spot it flying in the Inkopolis Square, though it’s not entirely clear what prompts the appearance.

Jason Michael Paul has been producing The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert for the past several years. It’s the only major concert has done, but it’s not for a lack of interest.

Earlier in the year, Paul said he wanted to make a Nintendo All Star concert. In a new interview with GamesIndustry, he also stated that ht’s created a proposal for a Super Mario symphony that he hopes will stick. Unfortunately, Paul noted that his idea for a Super Smash Symphony won’t happen since it’s “too complicated.”
