Namco Bandai has shared a few more images and information for Game Center CX 3. A roundup of the latest content can be found below.
– 15 retro-styled mini-games
– Story is set in the 1980s
– Spend most of the time beating events with a young Arino
– Progress through the story by playing different events in town
– Young Arino is apparently suffering a case of amnesia
– You need to play different games with Arino to help him regain his memories
– Toy store, game shop, and arcade center included in the game
– There’s also a snack shop, your own room, and the department store’s roof floor
– Model shop as well
– Different events in the game
– Many of these include Game Center CX’s fan-favorite staff members
– Staffers will occasionally be giving you hints and tips for the games
– Events consist of tasks such as “Clear until ____” or “Clear this event in one try” or “Figure out this riddle”
– All of the events change in terms of strategy
– Time progresses as the story advances after you clear events
– Some areas change over time
– Others grant you access only during certain periods of time

EDGE listed for release next week on the Wii U eShop

Two Tribes will be releasing EDGE for Wii U next week, according to a listing on Nintendo’s website. The official page lists a November 21 release date for the eShop title. EDGE should be available for $1.99 when it becomes available.

The official VGX website reveals a few more details about the upcoming show.
This year, the newly-renamed video game awards event will be streamed online. You’ll be able to watch the proceedings on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Twitch, iOS and Android devices, and globally on VGXLIVE.com, Hulu, Yahoo Screen, the Yahoo Screen app and Viacom properties Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com.
Video game fans can expect the typical world-premiere trailers and announcements, along with game demos, one-on-one interviews, and panels in an “intimate studio setting.”
VGX can be watched on December 7 at 6 PM ET / 3 PM PT. Spike TV will air highlights of the show as “VGX Replay” on December 9 at midnight.

Kickstarter puzzle-platformer So Many Me is a possibility for Wii U

Extend Studio’s puzzle-platformer “So Many Me” may come to Wii U. If the game’s Kickstarter campaign hits $160,000, we’ll definitely see it on Nintendo’s console. On Wii U, So Many Me would offer “special second-screen gameplay and management features for the GamePad.”
So Many Me’s Kickstarter has until December 16 to reach its $22,000 target and stretch goals. Over $3,000 has been raised thus far.

Pokemon Origins is different than the typical Pokemon anime in that it connects directly to the Red/Blue video games.
