Another Castle dev has thought about bringing older games to Wii U, but no decisions yet

Uncade LLC’s David Byers – the studio’s one and only employee – is currently working on Another Castle for Wii U. But Byers has created other games as well, including “Haunted Hallway”, “Blast Ball”, and “Love Me Not” for PC. Could we also see some of these on Wii U?
Byers admitted to Dromble that he’s “thought about it”, but has yet to make any decisions. If these older games were to see a Wii U release though, they’d probably “be more of a remake as opposed to a port.”
According to Bryers:
“I’ve thought about it, but to be honest I’m not sure yet. I feel like console games should be larger experiences than those games offer right now, so if I ever make them for the Wii U it would be more of a remake as opposed to a port. This would take a fair amount of work, and right now my top priority is working on Another Castle.”

Infinity Ward: ‘We already knew that we didn’t want to do another Modern Warfare game’ after Modern Warfare 3

“I feel like it’s not necessarily the game that gave us that sense [of a fresh start], it’s more of moving into a new studio. It’s a unique situation to be in for any studio because for us making Ghosts, not only are we putting our heart and soul into the game but we’re still really close friends with other developers. I think what we’re trying to do is create a game without anything else holding us back. We really just want to focus on creating an experience that’s new and fresh for us because ultimately if we don’t enjoy what we’re doing we’re not going to be there.”
“So yeah, our main focus is just making sure that we ourselves would go home and play Ghosts without thinking of anything else on the side.”
– Activision community manager Tina Palacios

Resident Evil 4’s action focus came from “commercial failure” of Resident Evil remake

Resident Evil 4 adopted a fairly different approach than its predecessors. For the game’s development, Capcom decided to make the game more action-oriented.
This was a conscious decision made by Shinji Mikami, who was director of the project. Because the 2002 remake of Resident Evil was a “commercial failure”, Mikami wanted to emphasize gameplay as opposed to scaring players.
Mikami told IGN in a new interview:

Robin Williams shares his favorite and last Zelda game he completed
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
It’s no secret how big of a Zelda fan Robin Williams is. He and his daughter, Zelda, were featured in a number of commercials a couple of years ago to promote Ocarina of Time 3D, Four Swords Anniversary Edition, and Skyward Sword.
So what’s Williams’ favorite Zelda game of all time? That’d be Ocarina of Time, which also happens to be the last Zelda he fully completed.
Writing in a Reddit IAMA session, Williams said:
“I think the last game I played was Ocarina of Time, and that was the last one I’ve had the chance to play all the way through.”
Also in the IAMA, Williams cleared up a common misconception about the name of his daughter. While this had been confirmed previously, Williams said his son originally came up with the idea for Zelda.
“It wasn’t actually me, it was my son Zachary who came up with the idea. But once Marsha and I heard it, we said it was great.”
