NIS America is putting out Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle on Switch this week. Get a look at some footage in the video below.

WWE 2K18 is partnering with KFC in a somewhat strange way. In the game, players will be able to create a custom character based on Colonel Sanders. Sanders, of course, is the founder of the fast food chain restaurant and is essentially the official mascot.

Vblank Entertainment announced a physical version of Retro City Rampage: DX on Switch last week, and pre-orders are now live. You can reserve the collector’s edition here and the standard version here.

Both releases come with a cartridge and manual. However, the collector’s edition adds a keychain, soundtrack, 3D glasses, and a reversible cover.

Orders will begin to ship on October 19.

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from September 2017. You can watch it below.

SEGA and IDW Publishing have announced that the new Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series will debut in April 2018. IDW will be releasing the first four issues in the span of four weeks.

Tying in with the news, fan favorite scribe Ian Flynn has been brought on to work on the new comics. Those initial issues will be written by Flynn and a team of artists to be announced at a later date.

Starting today, Gamestop stores all around the US will be distributing the special mythical Pokemon, Marshadow. Its signature move, Spectral Thief, can steal the stat boosts of an opponent while attacking all at once. Its exclusive Z-Move, Soul-Stealing Seven Star Strike, is a devastating attack as well. Squareboy vs Bullies: Arena Edition is a game that we first heard about last month. Today, Ratalaika Games announced a release date of October 12 on Switch (a 3DS version is due out later).

Squareboy vs Bullies: Arena Edition is an old school beat ’em up in which you play as the titular Squareboy who is on a quest for justice. This new version of the game has more content than the original version.

GamesIndustry spoke with Marvelous marketing manager Michael Fisher to talk all things Senran Kagura. One topic discussed is the audience playing the series, which might be somewhat surprising.

Fisher said that quite a few female players are giving Senran Kagura a shot – around 30 to 40 percent. Gamers aged 20 to 25 are also the primary demographic.
