Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run is finally available on Android – and a day early to boot. You can find it on the official Google Play page here.

Super Mario Run version 2.0.0 is also live slightly earlier than expected. Below are the full patch notes:

Nintendo World Report captured extensive footage from Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom at PAX East earlier this month. Watch 25 minutes of gameplay below.

Nintendo has provided Kotaku with an updated statement about the situation surrounding Joy-Con connectivity issues on Switch.

According to the company, the issues stemmed from a “manufacturing variation”, which caused “wireless interference with a small number of the left Joy-Con.” Nintendo has already addressed things “at the factory level” and says it won’t be a problem moving forward.

On May 19th Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will be available worldwide, but for Australia the day will be the 20th of May and they will have their own special Limited Edition as well.

This Fire Emblem Echoes Limited Edition is actually closer to the American release, since there won’t be any amiibo. The Australian release will feature the game, an artbook, the same metal pixel pin badges of Alm, Celica, and Marth, a reversible title sheet and the “Sounds of Echoes” soundratck selection CD.

The official Nintendo Australia site has detailed that the Limited Edition will be sold exclusively via EB Games Australia and New Zealand for SRP AU$99.95

DotEmu hasn’t shown the hero design in Wonder Boy: The Dragons Trap – until today. The company gave fans a first look at the character, including the reveal of a playable Wonder Girl.

“Over the years we’ve seen many different versions of Wonder Boy, depending on the specific game or console. Even the concept art had radically different characters. With such a diverse foundation to build from, it was on me to decide which direction to move in for this latest contribution to the Wonder Boy saga.

I remember as a kid, just looking at those tiny little pixels on my TV made my imagination run wild. So the obvious design choice was to start with the material I’d spent countless hours enjoying. I began with the original sprites from the Master System, aiming for a 21st-century reinterpretation.
