Update (5/3): The Blaster Master Zero update should be out now on Switch. Tomorrow on 3DS.
Update: The update may not actually be available until tomorrow. We’ll let you know when it releases officially.
Original (5/2): Inti Creates has detailed a new update for Blaster Master Zero. With version 1.2, Destroyer Mode and EX Character Mode will be added. Switch owners should be able to download the update now while 3DS players will need to wait until Thursday.

Death Squared confirmed for Switch, will have exclusive levels

SMG Studio spoke about wanting to port over Death Squared to Switch earlier this year. That’s been made official, as the team officially announced that its game is coming to Nintendo’s console.
Death Squared is a puzzle co-op title that tasks players with reaching the goal in various levels. On Switch, SMG Studio will be packing in brand new stages.

Ultra Street Fighter II wallpaper available on My Nintendo in North America

My Nintendo added a few new Street Fighter discounts in North America a few days ago. Additionally, the site updated with a wallpaper for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.
The wallpaper requires 50 Platinum Points. You can use it with a PC, smartphone or tablet in eight different resolutions. My Nintendo will distribute the wallpaper until August 2.

It’s well-known that Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia offers plenty of DLC. Today, Nintendo provided new details about the extra content in the west, including an early rollout schedule. Five major DLC packs will be offered starting on May 19, adding more maps, dungeons, characters and items.

Defenders of the Triforce debuts in Europe next month

Defenders of the Triforce has been running in North America since the start of the year. In Europe, it will finally debut next month.
Fans in Barcelona can partake in Defenders of the Triforce on July 2. Those in London are up next, with the event being held between July 14 and July 16. It’s also planned for Paris between July 6 and July 9. We should point out that Defenders of the Triforce is coming to Cologne as well, though no date has been set.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves is next week’s NeoGeo game on Switch

A listing on the European eShop confirms next week’s NeoGeo game on Switch. Garou: Mark of the Wolves will be out on May 11, the listing reveals.
The listing comes with the following overview of Garou: Mark of the Wolves:
“Garou: Mark of the Wolves is a fighting game released by SNK in 1999. The son of Geese Howard, Rock Howard, who has been raised by Terry Bogard is the main character in this first episode of a new generation in the Fatal Fury series. Numerous new game mechanics such as the ‘Breaking’ feature have been introduced in this acclaimed fighting masterpiece resulting in a game with a variety of deep strategies available to players.”
Garou: Mark of the Wolves will be priced at $6.99 / £6.29 / £6.99.

Rising Star Games bringing Elminage Original overseas

Starfish ended up on the Japanese 3DS eShop last year courtesy of Starfish. It’ll soon be heading west as well.
A release date is currently unknown, but a listing on Nintendo’s website reveals that Rising Star Games is handling Elminage Original in overseas countries. The dungeon-crawler is confirmed for North America, and will likely be offered in Europe as well.
