The latest Nintendo Direct focusing on Miitopia just wrapped up. If you weren’t able to watch the presentation live, you can catch up on the full recording below.

Capcom is already confirmed as a partner for Switch, as was announced a couple of weeks ago. As part of its latest financial results briefing Q&A, president and CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto talked a bit more about the platform.

Tsujimoto noted that it’s pleasing to see a new the appearance of a new platform. Capcom hopes to make games that can offer an experience tailored to the characteristics of each hardware and to the enjoyment of each target audience. Currently, the company is engaged in internal review and planning about offering content for the console as a partner.

Tsujimoto also explained that Capcom is looking into the feasibility of multiplatform development for PS4, Xbox One and Switch. However, it’s too early to be sure, and the feeling is that the Switch offers a different experience compared to those other platforms. As DualShockers notes, “hardware for each game will be selected taking in consideration the characteristics of each hardware, in order to maximize the fun provided to the player.”

GamesMaster went hands-on with Pokemon Sun/Moon in its latest issue, and wrote up an article about what to expect from the opening gameplay in the two titles. The information covers the beginning up through a portion of your arrival in Hau’oli.

There’s really nothing major here in terms of the story. Just to be on the safe side with spoilers though, we’ve posted the details roundup after the break.

Inti Creates has just announced Blaster Master Zero, a new entry in the Blaster Master franchise coming to the 3DS eShop in Spring 2017. The news was shared during the company’s Anniversary Fan Festa event in Japan.

According to a blog post, the rights for the original Blaster Master on NES were obtained from Sunsoft. After this, the team began working on the latest title in the franchise.

Here’s what Inti Creates is saying about Blaster Master Zero thus far:

“Using the original Blaster Master game as a base, we are setting out to create a fully 8-bit experience in a way that both hearkens back to the golden age of the NES and uses the current generation hardware to optimize and power up the game for the players of today. This of course includes new areas and bosses, and new gameplay elements such as extra sub-weapons, improved gameplay when battling outside of your SOPHIA 3rd tank, a more robust scenario, refined and expanded exploration mechanics, and more.”
