Along with this image of the recently announced fighter, Little Mac, director Masahiro Sakurai posted the following to Miiverse:

Pic of the day. As shown in Little Mac’s debut video, here is the height difference between Samus and Little Mac. He’s used those mighty green gloves to punch out many challengers bigger than himself.

Marvelous AQL has shared another round of new details and screenshots Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land. This time around, we learn about five of the game’s Harvest Sprites:

Mora:

– Easy-going
– A glutton; loves to eat and can often be seen with food in his mouth
– Often gets scolded by the other Harvest Sprite, Beth, when he steals a bite while she’s cooking

Cust:

– Lives by the elements of hot-blooded, effort, and guts
– Cust always gives it everything he’s got
– Very serious when it comes to not cutting corners

Torque:

– Always calm, composed, and is considered the smartest of the Harvest Sprites
– Knows a lot about everything thanks to studies to rumors about other people
– They even say that he’s so well-informed, that there’s nothing he doesn’t know about the neighborhood
– Unlike Cust, Torque doesn’t seem to have the physical capabilities to accomplish certain work

Flat:

– Honest, kind, and curious
– Takes good care of those around him
– Leader-type who likes going around looking for new buddies
– Likes rare things
– In charge of cleaning a certain spring

Beth:

– Gentle, relaxed, and ladylike
– Can be a bit of a klutz at times
– Always smiling
– You might catch her saying some rough things and shrugging it off with a smile

Earlier this month, Activision confirmed that a new Skylanders game will be released later in 2014. The “announcement” didn’t come with any concrete information though, aside from the fact that Toys for Bob is heading up development once again.

John Coyne, senior vice president of consumer marketing at Activision, recently told BT that “everyone’s going to have to wait a couple more months for more details.” He also teased, “I can tell you that it’s pretty exciting – it’s a game-changer”.

Coyne’s comments in full:

Nintendo has prevailed in a patent infringement case against International Trade Commission. Patent-licensing companies Technology Properties Limited LLC, Phoenix Digital Solutions LLC and Patriot Scientific Corporation brought on the case.

In the ruling, it was determined that the 3DS – as well as DSi – does not infringe the asserted patent.

Richard Medway, Nintendo of America’s vice president and deputy general counsel, said of the verdict:

“We are very pleased with the commission’s determination, which confirmed the judge’s finding that Nintendo’s products do not infringe the asserted patent. Nintendo’s track record demonstrates that we vigorously defend patent lawsuits, including cases in the ITC, when we believe we have not infringed another party’s patent. Nintendo continues to develop unique and innovative products while respecting the intellectual property rights of others.”

A pair of Game Boy Advance titles have popped up on the OFLC. The Australian ratings board has added in entries for Klonoa: Empire of Dreams as well as Mr. Driller 2. Given the two ratings, they’re likely for the Wii U Virtual Console.

When Capcom last spoke about Monster Hunter 4’s sales, it confirmed that the game’s shipments were at 4 million. That was in December. Since then, Capcom says Monster Hunter 4 has shipped 4.1 million units. It’s also seeing a “high” sell-through rate, according to the publisher.
