Chasm

Chasm is starting to look very likely for Switch. Over on the game’s official Twitter account, a message was posted with an image containing the system.

Here’s the tweet in question:

More: ,

The Messenger has taken some clear inspiration from Ninja Gaiden. It only makes sense then to have some of the game’s creators try out Sabotage and Devolver Digital’s new title.

That’s exactly what you can see in the video below. Ninja Gaiden director / producer Hideo Yoshizawa, along with composer Keiji Yamagishi, play The Messenger while sharing their thoughts and commenting on a few other subjects.

Here’s more information and a trailer:

SEGA’s classic Streets of Rage series is seeing a revival with Streets of Rage 4, Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and Dotemu have announced. A release date and platforms have not been confirmed as of yet.

Typically we hold off on news about brand new titles unless we receive confirmation about it being bound for a Nintendo system. However, given the companies involved here, we do believe a Switch release will happen. This game comes from Dotemu and Lizardcube – the publisher and developer of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap respectively. Considering how well that title did on the eShop, it seems certain that Streets of Rage 4 will be on Switch.

Blossom Tales publisher FDG Entertainment has provided an update on the game’s strong performance on Switch. According to the company, sales on Nintendo’s platform have now surpassed Steam sales by a factor of 20.

FDG previously said that Blossom Tales sold double the amount of units on Switch launch day compared to lifetime sales on Steam. In March, we heard that Switch surpassed Steam lifetime revenue by 20x.
