Nintendo has announced the latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event. This week, the theme is “Spring Snackfest” where snack-related spirits will be appearing. Defeating these spirits will give you a Snack (L) and three times as many Spirit Points.
The Spirit Board event should kick off on Friday. Look for it to last a few days as usual.
February 2019 NPD: Nintendo has highest February month hardware dollar sales since 2011, Switch best-selling platform

Coming off of the holidays, the start of a new year can be a bit slow in terms of games and sales. That isn’t the case with Nintendo and 2019, however.
In the United States last month, Nintendo generated its highest February month hardware dollar sales since 2011. Also, the Big N reached the highest year-to-date dollar sales for Nintendo produced hardware since 2011.

Stay getting a physical release

Red Art Games recently announced Old Man’s Journey as its first physical release on Switch. Next up on the docket is Stay, which came to the eShop last September. Pre-orders open this Thursday.
Aside from the game itself, buyers will be given a few extra goodies. These include DLC, a booklet with spritesheets and concept art, digital soundtrack, and a “special surprise code”.

Gris seems to be getting a physical release on Switch

Special Reserve Games has started working with Devolver Digital to bring out physical versions of their titles. As we reported earlier today, pre-orders for The Messenger just opened.
Gris is another Devolver Digital-published game that should be receiving the physical treatment. Special Reserve Games has updated its website, which now includes the critically-acclaimed Switch title. No word yet on when it’ll be launching or when pre-orders are going live, but we’ll let you know when we hear more.

The Messenger physical pre-orders open

Pre-orders for the physical version of The Messenger have gone live. There are currently two options: reserving the game with either Special Reserve Games or Limited Run Games.
Special Reserve Games has The Messenger here. You can also grab it from Limited Run Games here. Both are pretty much similar, but the cover will vary depending on who you go with.
