Original: Pokken Tournament DX’s big update is here. Nintendo and Bandai Namco have pushed the latest patch to all players.

Today’s update adds a number of new features. These include Team Battles with friends online, official groups in Group Match, the ability to record Pokemon movements in Practice Mode’s Free Training, and more. We’ll add in the full patch notes when Nintendo shares them.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has appeared on many platforms over the years. Later this week, the game will finally be coming to Switch. See how it stacks up to previous versions below.

Ark: Survival Evolved developer Studio Wildcard has expressed interest in Switch. During an interview with GamesIndustry, Studio Wildcard co-founder Jesse Rapczak said the system would be “a great platform for a game like Ark, because if the game is designed right, you can kind of pull out and do some stuff.” Rapczak added that the team is investigating Switch to “see what we can do there.”

The one challenge is that Switch “is a totally different platform”. Rapczak brought up that memory in particular could pose a problem in bringing Ark over. However, Rapczak did say that they’re “throwing some ideas around, just seeing if it makes sense right now.”

No specific titles have been announced yet, but Strictly Limited Games today confirmed plans for Switch. We’ll let you know when the first releases are confirmed.

A new update is now being distributed to Nights of Azure 2 players. Assuming you’ve purchased the game, version 1.0.1 is available.

Although we don’t have official patch notes, players have picked up on a few improvements and changes. These include:

– Nights of Azure 2 now shows in your online status (previously just showed you as offline status when in-game)
– Play Time is now being recorded for the game, but any Play Time that you logged before 1.0.1 is not accounted for
– New Game Plus now removes the Day Limitation, so you no longer have to worry about a New Moon ever happening for doing side quests
– When you get to the day before a New Moon and end that day, it will indefinitely return the Moon Phase to right before a New Moon, so you can use all the days you want in any chapter for grinding and side-quests and a New Moon Game over will never happen
– This is also only available in New Game Plus, so you have to have Clear Data to gain access to this

Capcom

During its latest financial results briefing, Capcom was specifically asked about Switch support during the Q&A session. The company had spoken positively about Nintendo’s console, and noted how the system was important for multiplatform development.

While we previously only had tidbits and small paraphrases based on what was said last week, Capcom has posted the full Q&A section online in English. You can read the full excerpt below.
