Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course sales

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course has already sold over one million copies, Studio MDHR has confirmed. That milestone was reached in less than two weeks since its launch.

“This marks an even quicker timeline than it took for the original game to achieve this momentous feat, and we are just beside ourselves with joy and appreciation,” said studio director and executive producer Maja Moldenhauer of today’s news. “These words certainly do not encompass how grateful we are, but to the amazing Cuphead players worldwide we say nonetheless: thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Scar of the Doll remake

A remake of the 1998 visual novel Scar of the Dolls is coming to Switch, Child-Dream, Mista Stories, and Mamekujira announced today. It’ll be out this summer in Japan.

A few different elements have been confirmed for the Switch version thus far. Graphics have been redone and players can choose to turn horror elements on / off. “Tobu Yume o Mienai” from Hiroyuki Oshima will be the main theme song and there’ll be remastered versions of music. Fans can also expect an expanded story and there’ll even be an extra scenario.

Time on Frog Island trailer

Merge Games and Half Past Yellow are celebrating the launch of Time on Frog Island with a new trailer. Switch owners can now get their hands on the sandbox puzzle and platforming adventure title.

Souldiers update 1.06.28856

A new 1.06.28856 update has just gone live for Souldiers on Switch.

Players will find a bunch of improvements, changes, and fixes here. The team has improved loading times on Switch, implemented quality of life enhancements, rebalancing, and more.

A new video has come online providing a first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.

We first found out about the release back in March. It will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy). Dungeons 3: Nintendo Switch Edition

The dungeon-building sim Dungeons 3: Nintendo Switch Edition will be released in a couple of months, publisher Kalypso Media and developer Realmforge Studios announced today. It’s slated for September 15, 2022 on the console.

The game is the same experience that can be found on other platforms, though now fans can play it either on a TV or portably. The Once Upon a Time, Evil of the Caribbean, and Lord of the Kings expansion packs are included.

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for June 2022.

All systems saw an increase in sales during the month, with Switch receiving a 24 percent bump over May. At this point in the year though, the overall console market is down 39.1 percent.
