Prior to today’s console and Kickstarter announcement for Cult County, the good folks over at Nintendo Life caught up with Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham to discuss the project. Watsham tackled topics pertaining to the 3DS version, taking to Kickstarter, Unity, and more.

Check out the Q&A below. You can also find Nintendo Life’s full interview here.

Update: Kickstarter is now live. You can donate here. The goal is set at $580,000.

Cult County, a Renegade Kid project first announced as a 3DS eShop exclusive, is now coming to Wii U, PlayStation platforms, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. This is indeed related to the studio’s Kickstarter set to go live in just a short while.

Nintendo Force reveals the news in its latest issue. “It’s an ambitious upgrade in scope and complexity, and one that will require extra capital to accomplish,” the magazine writes.

Cult County will launch in 2015 – assuming the Kickstarter goal is met.

We’re posting this as Star Wars Pinball: Heroes Within should be coming to Wii U… eventually!

Three games from Nnooo will be on display at this year’s PAX East. Attendees can get their hands on Blast ‘Em Bunnies, Cubemen 2, and ORBITOR. The latter title hasn’t been officially confirmed for Nintendo platforms, though Nnooo intends to bring the action-adventure game to consoles/handhelds later this year.

This week’s GameStop ad has gone live. You can find it in full below.

Miiverse has received another small update today. Two small changes have been first.

First, users will now be directed to the Communities screen when logging in to Miiverse on the web. Second, those without Nintendo Network IDs can now view all popular posts as well as comments on those posts.

Here’s the official update news from Miiverse’s Marty:

Update: Fixes a bug within the game:

Fixes an issue where, upon completing level 3-3 – Frantic Fields, the path to level 3-4 – Scorch ‘n’ Torch would not open up, preventing players from proceeding with the game

Original: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has received a new update: version 1.1.0. Thing is, we’re not quite sure what it does at present! If we obtain any information, we’ll update this post.
