A new reward has popped up on the Japanese Club Nintendo site: Animal Crossing-themed pouches. Users can choose from two color variations. For 120 points, Nintendo will provide either a light blue or pink pouch. Both measure in at 13 × 20cm.

Platinum Games has updated its Wonderful 101 blog with a fifth post. Today’s piece is fully dedicated to Wonder-Blue.

Indie developer Barnstorm Games just launched its Kickstarter for “Pro Pinball: Timeshock!” yesterday. The campaign has already raised over £17,000 of the £40,000 goal.

The campaign doesn’t have any Wii U or 3DS stretch goals at present (that could change in the future), but Barnstorm has interest in bringing Pro Pinball to both platforms “eventually”.

More DLC is coming to Injustice: Gods Among Us, and NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon has started to tweet out clues for the next playable character.

Don’t count on any Wii U, 3DS, or PlayStation Vita games from id Software founder and technical director John Carmack.

Carmack stated during a presentation at QuakeCon 2013 that he’s “extremely unlikely” to develop for any of the aforementioned platforms.

Journalist Britton Peele, who attended the event, shared the tidbit from Carmack on Twitter:


Earlier in his talk, Carmack said that he had interest in bringing Doom 3: BFG Edition to Wii U and PS Vita, but they were not supported due to a lack of interest.

John Carmack, founder and technical director at id Software, has said that he would have liked to bring Doom 3: BFG Edition to Wii U and PS Vita.

Speaking at QuakeCon 2013 today, Carmack noted that even though both platforms would have been “great targets” for the game, there’s simply “not enough interest”.

Last year, Carmack said he wished he could bring Doom 3 BFG Edition to platforms such as the Wii U and PS Vita, but indicated that there wasn’t enough time to make this a reality.

Donkey Kong will be hitting the 3DS eShop on August 15, according a listing on the digital store. Pricing is set at $4.99.
