Famitsu sales data was reported earlier this week, revealing that Kirby and the Forgotten Land released in Japan with nearly 400,000 physical copies sold. As it turns out, that’s the series’ best debut ever.
The next closest game, Kirby Super Star Ultra, sold 260,867 units in its first week. For another title comparison, Kirby Star Allies moved 223,811 copies. Kirby and the Forgotten Land holds the strongest lead by far at 380,060 units, and that’s without counting digital sales.

Horgihugh and Friends was only just announced for Switch in the west about a month ago, but it’s already scored a release date. Aksys Games just revealed that the title will be available on June 16, 2022.
PM Studios and developer Crescent Moon Games have announced The Courier, “an open world game about running a mail delivery business on a mysterious island.” A release is planned for 2022 on Switch.
Players will be able to uncover more of the island’s secrets as they deliver more letters. The game lets users “explore a vibrant living world, make use of various vehicles to travel around, do tons of challenges, and complete a compelling and mysterious main storyline.”
A release date for Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 has been announced, with Inti Creates confirming that the Switch title will be out on July 28, 2022. The most recent window we had prior to today was Summer 2022.

Idea Factory today announced that Amnesia: Memories and Amnesia: Later x Crowd, a pair of visual novels, are heading west for the first time. Both Switch titles will release this fall.
Amnesia: Memories has players going on a romantic adventure to find the truth behind their memory loss and features five romantic paths that branch off into over 20 endings. Amnesia: Later x Crowd is a companion compilation.
