Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez arrives on Switch later this month. While it’ll only be offered in Japan and Asia, the situation could actually be much worse.

Like a number of other Bandai Namco titles, Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez will fully support English thanks to its release in Asia. That means even though a western version isn’t in the cards (at least not yet), importing is very much an option.

You can pre-order Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez ahead of its release on October 29 here. It’ll fully work on any Switch system and can be played entirely in English.

Update (10/17): Amazon UK has opened pre-orders for the Monster Hunter Rise and its collector’s edition here.

Original (10/13): The Nintendo UK store has now opened up pre-orders for Monster Hunter Rise. As part of that, you can reserve the collector’s edition.

The Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition includes a physical copy of the game, Deluxe Kit DLC Pack download code, a Magnamalo amiibo, a “Kamura Mark” pin badge and a sticker pack.

You can pre-order Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo UK store here.

Cloudpunk made it to Switch this week, but not without some controversy. Some have taken notice that screenshots shown on the eShop aren’t entirely representative of how it looks on Nintendo’s console. There’s also been talk of the frame rate struggling a bit.

Merge Games, the publisher of Cloudpunk, has now issued a lengthy statement about the game. The company says it’s working on a patch to improve stability and performance as well as to address a quest issue.

As for Switch, Merge apologized “to the community who feel misled by the lack of parity between Switch and other platforms,” explaining that “this version has been difficult to optimize due to the system’s technical limitations”. The good news is that Merge will continue to put in work to make the Switch version “as close as possible to the other platforms”.

The full statement reads:

The tactical RPG Othercide has been updated to version 1.2.0.2. Players can now access a new Dream Mode, which “adds new elements aimed towards providing a more forgiving experience for inexperienced players, while keeping the overall game feel lethal and impactful.” Several fixes are also included.

Below are the full patch notes:

The eShop listing has provided a release date for Clea, a skill-based survival horror adventure game for Switch. It’ll be out digitally on October 30, the page confirms.

Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire, UK analyzed keyword search data sourced from Google for every villager, furnishing, houseware, and clothing item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In the process, we’re able to learn about the most / least popular villagers in the game and more.

Among the highlights is that Marshall was determined to be the most popular character “by far, beating the next most popular by 81,000 avg. monthly searches”. Sadly, Clyde was the least popular with just 590.

As another interesting note, 60 percent of the top 20 most sought-after characters are female and 70 percent of the least popular are male. Based on the data, cats are the most popular villager species (25 percent of the top 20) whereas in contrast, Frogs are the least popular overall. Although the most popular personality types were ‘Normal’ and ‘Lazy’, the least popular were ‘Cranky’, ‘Jock’, and ‘Snooty’.

This month’s issue of Nintendo Dream has an interview with Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura and Masanobu Suzui from Indieszero. The two were pretty much there to promote Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, though the discussion closed out in an interesting way.

Nintendo Dream ended the interview by asking what the two developers wanted to highlight about Melody of Memory. Eventually, after a few exchanges, Suzui and Nomura said the following (as translated by Nintendo Everything’s Oni Dino):
