A new batch of details and screenshots are in for Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland. Today’s update covers returning characters Totooria “Totori” Helmold and Mimi Houllier von Schwarzlang, the Alchemy Riddle, Lulua’s journey, the evolved world of Arland, and the new “Awakening Effect” synthesis system. Publisher Ultimate Games, along with developer TiliaSoft, today announced Avenger Bird for Switch. The retro-styled platformer is due out on February 5.

Another Indie has announced two new games set for release on Switch. At the Taipei Game Show, Neverinth and Vigil: The Longest Night were both confirmed for Nintendo’s platform.

Devolver Digital is delaying the release of Ape Out by a few weeks. Its now scheduled for February 28, with the team apparently looking to ensure that the game hits 60 frames per second.

Ape Out will cost $14.99 / £10.99 / €14.99 on the Switch eShop. Pre-orders are open now.

Following up on today’s debut trailer, we also have a bunch of details and screenshots from Nippon Ichi’s new Switch game Murder Detective: Jack the Ripper. We’ve rounded up everything below, courtesy of Gematsu.

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of January 2019.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, a new entrant, charted at #4. While one month sales were up 17% compared to the original Wii U game, Switch had a much higher install base at the time.

Update (2/1): Nintendo also has other unannounced titles for Switch including “one that is a nice fit to the online program.” Further information was not provided.


Original (1/31): During Nintendo’s financial results briefing tonight, the company shared a bit of an interesting tease. The company says it’s preparing at least one unannounced title for Switch that “fans would be delighted to know.” This is planned for the next fiscal year, meaning we won’t be seeing it until April at the earliest.

It goes without saying that there isn’t a whole lot to go on here. Still, it’s interesting that Nintendo would even mention something along those lines. If you’d like to hazard a guess, feel free to do so in the comments below.
