NIS America has revealed another bonus for the Switch version of Ys VIII. All copies will include Adol’s Silver Armor costume, a special outfit from the very first game in the series – Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished.
Note that the costume will be packed into each game. An extra download will not be necessary.
The Wave Race series has been dormant for a very long time. We’re closing in on two decades since Wave Race: Blue Storm, which came to GameCube in 2001.
Could Wave Race finally return on Switch? There are no promises, but Nintendo managing executive officer Shinya Takahashi – who has played a large role with the console – seems interested in the possibility.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is just a week away from its launch on Switch. The game finally has a listing added to the eShop, showing the file size. It’ll take up 14.1GB of space.
The file size for South Park on Switch is slightly lower compared to other platforms. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were about 18GB each.

Abylight posted a brief video today showing the Switch version of Hyper Light Drifter. Although it’s short, it’s our first look at the game running on Nintendo’s console. You can see the clip below.

Baroque Decay worked with Merge Games to bring The Count Lucanor to Switch last year. The studio’s next project, Yuppie Psycho, is now confirmed for the console as well.
Yuppie Psycho features a mix of different genres, including survival horror, graphic adventure, and puzzle-solving. The primary mission involves breaking into and investigating the secrets at Sintracorp, the most important company in the world. Main character Brian Pasternak discovers that his job is to hunt a “witch” whose powers made the success of the corporation possible, but has now returned to torment its employees.

Recently, Nintendo announced that it had partnered with Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology for a collaboration in Splatoon 2. More English details were shared today.
First, this month’s Salmon Run gear which resembles a helmet like the one JAMSTEC staff and scientists wear every day. Octo Expansion will also see the appearance of the SHINKAI 6500.

According to a new listing on the European Switch eShop, Goetia is making its way to Switch on April 26. Forever Entertainment will be handling publishing duties.
Goetia is a point-and-click adventure title that has players taking on the role of Abigail, the ghost of a young lady. Being a ghost affords you the ability to move through walls and ceilings, as well as manipulate objects by possessing them. The ultimate goal is to find out what led to the downfall of Blackwood Manor.
