Comic Book is reporting on two new games Warner Bros. and TT Games have in development.

The first project carries the unconfirmed title “LEGO Incredibles 2” and is naturally based on Pixar’s upcoming film. There could be some truth to this, as a catalogue showcasing LEGO toy sets for 2018 leaked several months ago and mentioned an unannounced game linked to an unspecified Pixar property.

A handful of Mario games on 3DS have been discounted on Amazon. Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario 3D Land are down to $19.99 each. You can also purchase Mario Sports Superstars, Super Mario Maker, and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions for $30 each.

Best Buy’s sale page is located here. Amazon has thus far price-matched Mario & Luigi here.

Is Freedom Planet coming to Switch? Quite possibly. The image above was posted to the official Facebook yesterday, along with the text: “Are we doing it right?”

Developers often announce their games for Switch by showing them running on the console. GalaxyTrail seems to be doing it in a very similar way, though what’s shown on top of the system here is the soundtrack from the physical PC version.

Freedom Planet made it to Wii U back in 2015. GalaxyTrail is also working on a sequel, which should eventually come to Switch after the initial PC debut.

This week, it was revealed during the Nintendo Direct Mini that Ys VIII is coming to Switch this summer. It’s a pretty big deal since Falcom’s series hasn’t appeared on a Nintendo platform in quite some time – it’s primarily been a PlayStation franchise as of late.

Interestingly, the Switch version of Ys VIII is not actually being handled by Falcom directly. NIS America is publishing the game in North America, while parent company Nippon Ichi will release it in Japan.

Nintendo sent out a new update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp earlier in the week. According to the official patch notes, bug fixes were implemented. It was a clear sign that the update was small in nature.

The update also makes a change that is small, yet still interesting. In version 1.1.2, the Isabelle kite model was altered. It was previously right over left before, but now shows the correct left over right folding. The original way is only used when dressing the dead for burial, and is considered to be very bad luck. Nintendo obviously noticed the error and quickly made the fix.
