The new update for Earth Atlantis is here. Headup Games and Pixel Perfex have sent out version 1.0.1.
Today’s patch involves the following:
– Drop the sub-weapon that you had equipped before you got defeated right at your restart point
– Item boxes spawn much closer to the restart point and player’s location
– Increased drop rates of items and sub-weapons
– Increased the player’s ship speed
– Reduced the difficulty of some boss monsters, especially on Easy Mode
– Minor bugs fixed
– A new game icon
Earth Atlantis should be updated automatically to version 1.0.1. If it doesn’t, there should be an update option in the game’s settings.

The reviews for Super Mario Odyssey dropped yesterday, and Nintendo couldn’t have hoped for a better reception. Switch’s new game earned heaps of praise from all sorts of outlets.
On GameRankings, which archives reviews across generations, Super Mario Odyssey is now the highest rated game of all time with a score of 98.92%. Nintendo actually owns the full top five on the site. Super Mario Galaxy is #2 at 97.64%, followed by Zelda: Ocarina of Time at 97.54%, Super Mario Galaxy 2 at 97.35%, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 97.28%.
Super Mario Odyssey has many, many Power Moons to collect. We’re talking hundreds. It’ll take some effort to collect them all, but there is something waiting for you at the end of the road. If you’d like to see what that is, continue on below.
10tons is publishing King Oddball on Switch early next week via the eShop. Take a look at some footage in the video below.
The Nintendo Switch eShop now has 200 available games for purchase. With Super Mario Odyssey having come out today, it can be easy to forget that there are 199 other games on the Switch, but there are!
Nintendo celebrated this milestone by making the chart above and posting an article on their website.
HandyGames previously announced Aces of the Luftwaffe – Squadron for Switch. Aside from that title, we can also expect Townsmen from the company.
Townsmen is a strategy game in which you build up your village. On Switch, a release is planned for 2018.
We have a short video showing Townsmen on Switch below with some additional information.

Wales Interactive will be looking its first-person horror game Don’t Knock Twice with an upcoming patch. The company outlined what’s in store for the imminent patch today.
Wales Interactive is promising “major framerate improvements, easier interaction with objects, bigger read-me texts, minor change to control scheme to avoid dropping items, new languages added, visual enhancements and minor collision/bug fixes.” The update has already been submitted, and once approved, should be live in about a week.
Here’s the full update from Wales Interactive:
Earlier this week, a demo Sonic Forces was published on Switch. The thing is, it’s only up on the Japanese eShop. And that’s where it will stay.
SEGA’s Aaron Webber commented on the demo situation during a live stream yesterday. It was confirmed that there are no plans to release it in either North America or Europe.
With Super Mario Odyssey launching today, the first update has already gone live. Version 1.0.1 is now available.
We can say that the launch update isn’t anything too speculator. “Several fixes have been made to enhance the user’s experience,” Nintendo says in its update notes.
We’ll have to see how often Super Mario Odyssey is updated in the future. Nintendo will want to address any small issues (if there are any), but this isn’t a game like Splatoon 2 or ARMS in which there will be somewhat frequent patches.
Thanks to Cameron for the tip.
