Another Switch unboxing video has come in, this time from Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata. Have a look below.

Warner Bros. and TT Games announced today that LEGO City Undercover will launch for Switch on April 4 (April 7 in the UK).

A new trailer is also live, posted below. It highlights the new two-player co-op mode as well as Chase McCain’s various disguises.

Switch has a bunch of different settings and options to use when creating your own Mii. We show them all in the video below.

We found out something pretty interesting about Switch while messing around with the system this week. Although it apparently won’t be available at launch, Nintendo is planning a feature so that update data can be exchanged with local users. That means you won’t necessarily have to connect online to get an update – you can just obtain the data from a friend.

Switch also appears to have connectivity with My Nintendo at the system level. We weren’t really able to try this out since a day one update is required, but it seems like you might be able to earn points with physical titles. Wii U and 3DS games already offer this, but only with the digital versions. We have a physical copy of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch yet there is an option to “Earn Points”. Stay tuned for further information.

Switch has a dedicated area in its menu where Nintendo will be delivering news notices to system owners over time. We take a look at the initial batch below.

Our Neon Switch unboxing

Nintendo was kind enough to send us a Switch unit earlier this week. That means we had no choice other than to unbox it! Take a closer look at the console below.

In many ways, Switch is what I’ve always what I’ve wanted out of a Nintendo console. Back during the N64 era, I dreamed of being able to take a game like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Super Smash Bros. anywhere I wanted. Sure, we did receive Ocarina of Time 3D a few years ago and a portable version of the new Smash Bros. more recently, but what Switch is offering is completely different. Switch provides a new means of moving between your television and a portable screen, and based on my early hands-on time with release hardware, it does so incredibly well.

Swapdoodle is a fairly recent 3DS app from Nintendo that allows users to write messages and draw 3D pictures. A number of add-on packs are already available, but more are being added – including one for Switch.

At least in Japan, Nintendo will be offering lessons on how to draw Switch beginning on March 3. New Zelda packs for Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker were also added in today.

Here’s a look at the latest Swapdoodle video while we’re discussing the app:
