A couple of months ago, Nintendo re-released some select 3DS titles for a discount price under the “Nintendo Selects” label in Europe. At the recent financial results briefing, it was revealed by Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima that these games sold quite well and that Nintendo would launch a similar initiative in its home country soon. Today, Nintendo revealed “Happy Price Selection” – select games will be re-printed and sold at a discount price, specifically 2,916 Yen, starting on Marc 17th. Interestingly, “Happy Price Selection” also includes some third party titles, unlike “Nintendo Selects”, which only included games developed and published by Nintendo themselves.
“Happy Price Selection” includes:
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Tomodachi Life
- Luigi Mansion 2
- Nintendogs+cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends
- Nintendogs+cats: French Bulldog & New Friends
- Nintendogs+cats: Shiba Inu & New Friends
- Dora Eigo: Nobita to Yousei no Fushigi Collection
- Sumikko Guraahi, Kuma Tomo
- Gotouchi Tetsudou
- Taiko no Tatsujin: Chibi Dragon to Fushigina Orb
