Data provided by the likes of Media Create and Famitsu indicated that Monster Hunter X had sold 1.5 million copies in Japan thus far. Amazingly, that high figure was achieved in just a couple of days.
Capcom has also now followed up with its own sales announcement. The publisher said in a press release today that shipments for Monster Hunter X are at 2 million units. This includes retail copies, plus sales on the eShop and download cards.
Update: I’ll just leave this here. Those of you in Europe can now access the Zelda: Tri Force Heroes demo and play online with friends until January 10.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been updated. Version 2.0.0, which adds new stages, outfits, and more, can be downloaded as of this moment.
You can watch a live stream of the update below. Full patch notes are after the break.
Japan received its regular 3DS theme update yesterday, but a few more have launched today as well. These include a Mario Hanafuda theme and three for Devil Survivor. Videos for each can be found below.
As promised, a new Event Course can be played in Super Mario Maker. Nintendo just added in the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam level a few minutes ago.
Here’s an overview:
“Mario and Paper Mario have teamed up! (Oh yeah, and Luigi too.) Is any foe capable of withstanding their combined powers?! Thus begins the quirky, fun-filled story of Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, and now you can play as that unbeatable trio right here in Super Mario Maker too!”
After completing the course, you’ll be rewarded with the Mario Trio costume. It’s shown in the video below.
We have another short update on The Game Awards 2015. During tomorrow’s show, it’s now confirmed that Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be appearing, just like last year.

In other news, DJ Hardwell’s remix of the Gerudo Valley theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has come online. Listen to it below.

Indivisible, a new RPG from Lab Zero, has been making big waves as of late. The project just secured funding over on Indiegogo having raised $1.6 million.
We unfortunately won’t be seeing Indivisible on Wii U, but it could end up on another system. The game’s Twitter account has said that an NX version will be considered when more information about it has been shared by Nintendo.
Here’s the tweet:
@sokoTV Wii U is not technically possible, but we’ll consider an NX version when we know anything about the system.
