Leading up to Super Mario Maker’s release on Sept. 11th, we’re highlighting some of the coolest, most creative, or just plain ridiculous levels users have created so far. In this episode, we check out the level “The Great Goomba March” from Dalagonash in the UK, who piles in more goombas per square foot than we’ve ever seen in a Mario level!

Let us know if you have any suggestions for levels we should cover in the comments and we’ll check it out!

Following a listing from the ESRB earlier today, it’s now confirmed that Mario Golf for the N64 is due out on the North American Virtual Console tomorrow. You’ll be able to purchase the Wii U download via the eShop for $9.99.

Here’s an overview:

Mario takes a well-deserved break from his role as the Mushroom Kingdom’s busiest hero and returns to the links for some world-class golfing action. Since no one likes to hit the fairways alone, he’s brought along a group of friends—both familiar characters and brand-new ones. Choose from 10 different modes of play and six 18-hole courses in a variety of environments for a golfing experience with endless replay value. Add fun, colorful graphics with a Mario touch, intuitive controls, incredibly deep gameplay, and multiplayer support into the mixture, and you have a game that anyone will enjoy—even if they’ve never played a round of golf!

Nintendo updated its Japanese amiibo website with a release date for four more figures. Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, and the Famicom R.O.B. amiibo will be out on October 29.

That last amiibo is particularly noteworthy, as it’s the only region that will have the Famicom version of R.O.B. In North American and Europe, Nintendo is bringing out the NES version.
