The World Ends with You

Square Enix has even more downloadable content lined up for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. The next batch of songs could end up being very interesting, as it’s rumored that tracks from “The World Ends with You” are on the way.

“Calling” (field music) and “Twister” (battle music) are the two supposed tracks from The World Ends with You. We’ll also apparently be getting more songs from Chrono Trigger and a couple of other pieces.

Here’s the full lineup of tracks that are apparently coming soon:

Calling – The World Ends with You, 3:25, FMS
Twister – The World Ends with You, 1:17, BMS
Wind Scene – Chrono Trigger, 1:59, FMS
World Revolution – Chrono Trigger, 2:03, BMS
Final Confrontation – Romancing SaGa 3, 2:17, BMS
Liberi Fatali – Final Fantasy VIII, 3:05, BMS

Rumors about the above DLC seem to originate from the website ElOtroLado. Last month, forum member “SnakeElegido” posted several images that seem to confirm the downloadable content. It’s unclear how the person managed to access unreleased DLC, but the post looks accurate. SnakeElegido actually listed other tracks with his original post like Xenogears’ Soaring, which Square Enix eventually confirmed and released last week.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

It’s now possible to bypass the 3DS’ region lock through a simple exploit.

The exploit, known as “RegionThree”, only requires system owners to download a file and access the Internet. You can check out the process in the video above, and view full instructions here.

This exploit does work with the latest version of the 3DS’ firmware. However, it’s not compatible with New 3DS systems.

NintenDaan joined me to discuss the latest Nintendo Direct. There was plenty to talk about between the New 3DS, a new Fire Emblem 3DS game, and more!

Random note: we did this recording with me having very little sleep under my belt. Actually, I’ve been exhausted these past couple of weeks. So please understand if I come across as a boring mess.

This week’s Nintendo Direct showed a good portion of what’s included in the Hyrule Warriors Majora’s Mask Pack. We got a look at new playable characters and the new Adventure mode map. Additionally, new costumes were teased through silhouettes.

Now we know for sure just what those costumes are. Lana is receiving a new Skull Kid outfit, while there will be new Ocarina of Time outfits for Impa and Sheik respectively.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is off to a strong start in the U.S. “creamsugar”, a trustworthy source when it comes to NPD data leaks, says that the game managed to sell roughly 250,000 copies last month.

We also have some data for the retail versions of NES Remix. NES Remix Pack for Wii U and Ultimate NES Remix for 3DS sold a combined 130,000 copies in the U.S. during December.
