ARK: Survival Evolved is coming to Switch, Survival Evolved has announced. The news was just shared during an event at GDC.

Studio Wildcard said that ARK: Survival Evolved on Switch will look visually comparable to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. Also, the same features and way of delivering multiplayer will be similar.

Splatoon 2

Splatoon producer Hisashi Nogami just wrapped up his panel at GDC 2018. Aside from showing some very interesting development images, Nogami also spoke about user trends, development, and more.

We’ve rounded up the latest information below:

NIS America revealed the western release date for Ys VIII on Switch today. The game is arriving on June 26 in North America and June 29 in Europe.

On Switch, content from both the PS4 and PS Vita versions will be included. Also, he Day One Adventurer’s Edition contains a reversible cover, an exclusive foil pack of three character cards featuring Adol, Dana, and Dogi, as well as a double-sided poster featuring Dana and the Map of the Isle of Seiren.

At GDC today, Splatoon and Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami is hosting a special panel. The talk was highlighted by showing prototypes for the first game.

Nintendo Switch

The February 2018 NPD results were reported today. Switch wasn’t the top selling console, but Nintendo does have some news to feel encouraged about.

Switch has managed to achieve the highest installed base for a console platform in history in the United States. That information comes directly from analyst Mat Piscatella.

Nintendo previously announced that by the end of December 2017, Switch has sold 14.86 million units worldwide.
