CollectorVision Games has announced that an update is on the way for the retro platformer Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan. The patch, which features updated controls and improve difficulty balance, will be live on Switch after it passes lot check.

Below are the full details:

The Outer Worlds

Sometime in 2020, Obsidian’s RPG The Outer Worlds will be on Switch. It wasn’t always something that was planned, nor did the team think it was necessarily possible.

Speaking with USgamer, co-game director Leonard Boyarsky said:

Interrogation: You will be Deceived

Publisher Mixtvision and developer Critique Gaming today announced that the noir thriller Interrogation: You will be Deceived is in the works for Switch. It’s heading to Nintendo’s console in Spring 2020.

We have the following overview and trailer for Interrogation: You will be Deceived:

Wii was one of Nintendo’s better-performing systems having sold over 100 million units worldwide. However, that success wasn’t always guaranteed. Especially before release, questions were raised over Wii’s name and its heavy use of motion controls.

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie-Fils Aime looked back on Wii during his recent lecture at Cornell. The platform, he said, came about due to Nintendo feeling there was “a lack of innovation in games and consoles”. He also called the “interaction between players and the game” led by Wii and Wii Sports (which itself was a huge hit) “a gutsy call that paid off.”

Lost Ember

Mooneye Studios has released a new trailer for its animal switching adventure Lost Ember. You can view the video below.

Lost Ember initially launches on November 22, though the Switch version will follow “in the months to come.”

Incredible Mandy

Incredible Mandy is coming to Switch on November 7, an eShop listing reveals. The action-adventure game will be sold via the eShop.

Here’s an overview of Incredible Mandy, along with a trailer:

Microids, Pendulo Studios, and YS Interactive have shared a new 25-minute gameplay video for Blacksad: Under the Skin. We have it below.

Blacksad: Under the Skin will now launch for Switch in Europe on November 28, followed by December 10 in North America.

Minecraft Dungeons

Minecraft Dungeons is hitting Switch and other platforms next year. As it turns out there, the game got its start on a different Nintendo platform.

Jens Bergensten, chief creative officer at Mojang, revealed in a recent behind-the-scenes video for the game: “it all started when we were trying to figure out a cool Minecraft-style game for the Nintendo 3DS.” “We toyed with a bunch of different ideas, but finally making a dungeon crawler was something that really struck a chord with us,” he said.

Minecraft Dungeons will retain its action-adventure roots when it comes to Switch in 2020. However, it’ll be a much different – and bigger – title compared to those early 3DS days.

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 will be adding some Switch-specific functionality. The two games are receiving support for gyroscopic and motion controls, the company confirmed today.

Note that Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 may not necessarily launch with these features. Capcom is releasing a patch that appears to require installation in order for them to work properly.

Mary Skelter 2 launched in most parts of the world on Switch last week. However, Australia is one region where the game won’t be released.

As it turns out, Mary Skelter 2 won’t be available in Australia as the age rating was not accepted. Publisher Idea Factory confirmed the news on Twitter. Additionally, the official classification page shows that the game’s classification was refused.

Those in Australia interested in buying Mary Skelter 2 for Switch can still do so by setting up a separate Nintendo Account a making a purchase in a different region.
