Earlier this week, Krome Studios opened a Kickstarter for a Switch remaster of the GameCube title Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. The $50,000 goal has already been reached with four weeks remaining in the campaign. That’s good news for fans, as the project is officially moving forward.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for Switch will feature updated visuals, optional motion controls, a new “Hardcore Mode”, an improved camera, and more. Kickstarter stretch goals are planned, including new Ty skins at $75,000.

The puzzle-platformer Mekabolt is in the works for Switch, Somepx and Ratalakia Games have announced. It’ll be released “soon” via the eShop.

XIII

Earlier this year, Microids announced a remake of XIII. Ubisoft originally made the first-person shooter for GameCube and other platforms back in 2003.

Microids provided an update on the remake today, revealing that it has now been pushed back to 2020. No further information was provided, including why the delay is happening.

When it’s complete, the remake of XIII will be offered on Switch.

A panel for Dragon Quest XI S will be held at PAX West 2019, according to the expo’s official site. The event “will give a behind-the-scenes look at how developers from Square Enix, both established and newer, maintain series roots while catering to present-day RPG enthusiasts in creating modern-day classics”.

Fans can attend the event on Saturday, August 31 between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. PAX West 2019 runs between August 30 and September 2.

Indivisible

505 Games has announced that Indivisible will initially launch on October 8. Unfortunately, Switch seems to be the primary platform left behind and lacks a release date, but the game is said to be coming out later this year.

Indivisible will be showing off an updated demo showcasing Tai Krung City at Gamescom 2019 between August 20 and August 24 as well as PAX West 2019 between August 30 and September 2. This area “is a bustling metropolis crammed into a narrow mountain crevice, where Ajna and her allies will take to the rooftops to explore and battle a powerful kingpin to save this city of perpetual night from total domination.”

Still There

Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer GhostShark Games have announced their collaboration on a new sci-fi psychological adventure game Still There. It’ll be coming to Switch sometime this fall.
