Pile Up! Box by Box

HandyGames and Seed by Seed have shared a new trailer for Pile Up! Box by Box, an upcoming 3D platformer for Switch. Watch it below.

Pile Up! Box by Box is due out for Switch this summer. We have more details about the game here.

Nintendo eShop

Not much has changed with Nintendo’s upcoming maintenance schedule, as there’s only one announced period at the moment. All of the eShops will be impacted for a couple of hours to start the week, but there’s nothing else so far.

Here’s the full schedule:

NEO: The World Ends with You was given a proper blowout this week with a release date and trailer as well as quite a few details. Also revealed was a collector’s edition for Japan. While Square Enix won’t be offering that directly in the west, there is something similar.

The Square Enix store has a listing up for a NEO: The World Ends with You special merchandise set. It comes with a pin badge set, Mr. Mew pouch, and record bag. Unfortunately, the soundtrack CD and art book from the Japanese collector’s edition are not included.

Here’s further information about each of the items:

Shadowverse: Champion's Battle

The card battle RPG Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle was recently announced for the west following its debut in Japan. In both North America and Europe, the Switch title arrives this summer.

Retailers have started putting up their listings, giving us the boxart above. You can pre-order the game on Amazon here.

We have more information about Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle here.

Asdivine Cross

As we recently heard, Kemco and Exe Create’s latest RPG Asdivine Cross is releasing on Switch later in the month. Find some footage in the video below.

Asdivine Cross is slated for April 22 on the Switch eShop. We’ve got further details and a trailer here.

Undermine is now at version 1.1.0 on Switch, which is known as the “Royals” update. It includes the Contested Bog, Plunder King challenge, new enemies, new items and secrets, and more.

You can find the full patch notes for the new UnderMine update below.

New Pokemon Snap

Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Switch games. These include Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack, New Pokemon Snap, and more.

Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising launched on Switch a few months ago, but it sounds like development wasn’t an easy task. Associate director Julien Galloudec described the process as “a challenge”.

As for the team’s approach, they looked at what can be optimized and changed while ultimately preserving the experience. Galloudec mentioned that Ubisoft is ultimately “very happy with the results on all platforms”.

Galloudec shared the following with us when asked about the Switch version of Immortals Fenyx Rising:

Shuntaro Furukawa

2020 was a strong year for Nintendo thanks to high Switch demand and the phenomenal performance of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s been widely reported that the title has shipped over 30 million copies worldwide.

Nikkei recently spoke with Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa, and the Japanese publication brought up how games like Animal Crossing help encourage people to stay home more in the current climate. That led Furukawa to note: “As games with long lifespans like Animal Crossing become more accepted, we believe this will have a significant impact on future development.” Additionally mentioned is that Nintendo would like to “provide games that can allow communication between friends and families.”

Furukawa stated:

Fly Together!

Northplay has announced Fly Together!, a sequel to Conduct Together that “takes players to the skies in a race against time to bring passengers safely to their destination by drawing flight paths and avoiding collisions in increasingly challenging action-puzzles.” It’ll be released on April 29.

Here’s an overview of the game, along with a trailer:
