Today, SEGA announced that SEGA Genesis Classics is coming to Switch on December 7. The package includes more than 50 titles, including Sonic, Streets of Rage 2, and the Phantasy Star series.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo will hold a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct on November 1, the company has announced. Director Masahiro Sakurai will once again be sharing the latest information about the game during a 40-minute presentation.

Q-Cumber Factory announced today that the rogue-like game Alchemic Dungeons DX is coming to Switch. A release date is not yet known.

Alchemic Dungeons DX is the same game previously released on 3DS, but with a few additions. These include new characters, new items, a new dungeon, and new music.

A few more tidbits have emerged from Nintendo’s financial results briefing held in Japan today. President Shuntaro Furukawa shared the following:

– Sees more DLCs for existing “big” games
– No plans for eSports biz, yet
– All holiday titles now announced (no add’l surprises)
– Won’t use Nintendo IP in Dragalia Lost
– >50% Online users bought annual plan
– Fortnite still doing well
