One of the new elements in Pokemon Sun/Moon revealed today is the Poke Finder. The feature is built into the Rotom Dex, making it possible to take pictures of Pokemon at certain photo spots scattered throughout Alola. Pictures are evaluated, and you’ll unlock new functionality such as the ability to zoom in as you improve.

We’ve included some Poke Finder screenshots below.

Dexio and Sina, who were present in Pokemon X/Y as the professor’s assistants, are returning in Sun/Moon. The two will show up throughout the adventure as players progress.

At some point, after battling them, Dexio and Sina provide the Zygarde Cube. You’ll be asked to find Zygarde Cores and Zygarde Cells in the Alola region. Cores and Cells can be found across the world.

And the recap:

Today the Pokémon Company International and Nintendo revealed exciting new information for the latest games in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, coming to Europe on 23 November and available exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

Newly revealed Pokémon include:

Type: Null
Type: Normal
Type: Null is a Synthetic Pokémon which was constructed to synthesize the strengths of various Pokémon, making it adaptable enough to complete a mission that requires a Pokémon as strong as the Pokémon of mythology. The mask fitted to this Pokémon’s head is a piece of equipment designed to control its power. Type: Null is the partner Pokémon of a newly revealed character—Gladion, the taciturn enforcer of Team Skull, who places a high value on being strong in battle.

Pokemon Sun/Moon has received its latest news update. Today, we’re able to see quite a bit that’s new. We’re able to get a look at new Pokemon (including Jangmo-o and Raticate Alola Form), Ultra Beats (UB-01), Aether Foundation, and more.

Monster Hunter Stories’ character trailers continue, this time featuring Ayuria. Her companion Barioth, nicknamed Hyouga, is also featured, as well as the mix of contention and companionship that they will hold with the protagonist. Watch it below:

Pokemon Shuffle’s weekly update is notable, bringing two new stages: a Happy Pikachu stage and Hitmonchan. Furthermore, there are repeat runs for Shaymin Sky Forme, Dusknoir, and a safari (featuring Oddish, Abra, Gloom, Kadabra, Tauros, Vileplume, and Alakazam). All of the stages will run until September 20.

Catching Alakazam in the safari stage is especially recommended, as next week’s update will feature a competitive stage against Mega Alazkazam. This will be its first appearance in Pokemon Shuffle, so, if you’re aiming to catch ’em all, get practicing against Psychic types.
