Fabraz has confirmed plans to bring Planet Diver to Wii U. It’s unknown when it will be up on the eShop, but development is underway.

Planet Diver has players taking on the role of an interstellar wingsuit diver out looking for thrills. Here’s the overview from the game’s Steam page:

Planet Diver is about an adventurous daredevil tackling her newest obsession: Wing suit diving. With her close robotic companion Buddy she’ll travel across space to seek out the most dangerous planets and their respective chasms to dive in. You’ll dive through a variety of deadly and exotic planets, fighting off the flora and fauna of each locale, while collecting valuable star stuff to further fund your adventures.

Use your hard earned rewards to fly to more distant planets, as well as to acquire new outfits and special ability modifiers! Along the way you can compete online for the best dive or try to unlock rewards by completing tough challenges. Careful how deep you dive though… Who knows what slumbers within the planet’s core?

A few Zelda Wii U Easter eggs have been spotted in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. In Chudley’s Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium, pieces of art from the upcoming game can be found. It’s nothing mindblowing, but it’s still pretty neat!

“MissingNo.” is a well-known glitch in the original Pokemon games. By taking advantage of what Game Freak intended to be error handlers, players can encounter a nonexistent Pokemon represented as a graphical mess.

Fans of the series might be happy to hear that the new Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Red and Blue on the 3DS still have the MissingNo glitch in place. Take a look at it in the video below (note: in German).

John Hanke, chief executive of Niantic, says that the company will have more to say about Pokemon GO “soon.” That information comes from an interview conducted by GamesBeat.

Hanke told the site:

“Pokémon Go is looking good. We’ll share more details with the world soon. There certainly are a lot of fans.”

In other news, Niantic has raised another $5 million from companies such as Alsop Louie, former Havas boss David Jones, Fuji Television, Lucas Nealan, and Cyan and Scott Banister. The Pokemon Company, Google, and Nintendo also invested $30 million last October.

Niantic should be discussing Pokemon GO at GDC 2016 next month. Attendees “will get a first-hand, in-depth look at how players are interacting and exploring the world with one another through Pokemon GO, the collaborative approach to design and development for the game and the next evolution of augmented reality and real-world mobile gameplay experiences.”

Update: pokemon-sun.com and pokemon-moon.com have also seen the same activity.

Earlier today, two European trademark filings were found for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. It’s assumed that both will be announced tomorrow.

Additional evidence has since surfaced pointing to Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon being the real deal. Nintendo of America registered the domain name pokemon-sunmoon.com today, although it only redirects to “pokemon.com”. I imagine that will change tomorrow!
