Today, updated standings were revealed. There isn’t much movement in the top five, though rankings in the latter half of the top ten have shifted.

Last week, Japanese magazine Famitsu published a fairly lengthy Project Octopath Traveler interview. Producer Masashi Takahashi from Square Enix and director Keisuke Miyauchi from Acquire were brought in to discuss the Switch exclusive.

One point mentioned is how the team started this project with Tomoya Asano, the chief producer who also worked as producer of the Bravely series. The primary concept is “going on a journey.” The player would choose one of the eight protagonists, role-plays as them, and freely has a journey with the world.

Saber Interactive hasn’t had much to say about Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn. We did recently come across a retail listing for the game, but we haven’t heard much over the past few months.

Speaking with TechRaptor, Saber Interactive finally explained the situation. Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is apparently complete, and the team is now working around licensing issues. News will be provided soon on the game’s official Indiegogo page. Oh, and the Wii U version has been dropped, which is not much of a surprise.

A few Nintendo-published games have seen DLC over the past year. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Fire Emblem Warriors are among the titles that have received new content following release.

One game not included in that is Super Mario Odyssey. The game is getting a free update, but actual paid DLC has not yet been announced. Nintendo isn’t against the idea, however.

Fire Emblem Heroes will be starting the Breath of the Destiny Tempest Trials event on February 14. To celebrate, a new summoning focus has gone live.

Players have an opportunity to summon Heroes from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. By using these Heroes on your teams in the upcoming Tempest Trials, you can increase your score. EXP and SP earned will double as well.
