Capcom says Monster Hunter Rise demo stuttering issue won’t happen in the full game

Some Monster Hunter Rise fans have experienced an issue while playing the demo. It seems that if you’ve registered a high number of friends on your Switch, stuttering can take place.
The good news is that Capcom has addressed the situation for the final release of Monster Hunter Rise. An official statement mentions that “we have confirmed that this issue does not occur in the full version.”

UK software sales – January 17, 2021 – Switch and Animal Crossing lead the way

Original (1/17): This week’s UK software sales are in, and it’s again Switch that’s putting in a lot of work.
Although Animal Crossing is down 24 percent compared to last week, it’s still at the top of the chart. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe follows in second (sales down 23 percent). Super Mario 3D All-Stars (down 3 percent), New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (down 15 percent), and Ring Fit Adventure (down 37 percent) are also in the top ten.
Toppo (Hakaishin Mode) joining Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as new playable character in next free update

According to this month’s issue of V Jump, Toppo in his Hakaishin Mode is joining the game. He’ll be playable following the release of the game’s next free update.
V Jump also reveals that Hero Colosseum is getting new figures. Players can look forward to additional Expert Missions as well.
This isn’t the only new content for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. To close out 2020, it was previously announced that Pikkon will be added to the roster, and other new content is planned. We have more information here.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe now the best-selling Pikmin game of all time in Japan

Pikmin 3 Deluxe has officially become the best-selling Pikmin game of all title in Japan. Total physical sales are now at 513,225, which is more than the 502,996 amount sold by the very first entry in the series on GameCube.

Buddy Mission Bond is due out for Switch in Japan on January 29. A release for the west has not been announced at this time.

Bravely Default II producer discusses more of the improvements made following player feedback

In anticipation of its release, Square Enix released a demo of Bravely Default II on the eShop in March last year. In a recent interview with Famitsu, producer Masashi Takahashi spoke about the feedback the team received from fans who played it and revealed further improvements that weren’t detailed in the previous feedback video.
