Digital Foundry tests Bayonetta 2 on Switch
Posted on 6 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in Switch, Videos | 100 Comments
The folks over at Digital Foundry have decided to take a look at Bayonetta 2 on the Switch. The main takeaways are that the game runs in 720p both in docked and in undocked mode and that the visual fidelity seems to be identical in both modes. Docked mode has the edge in terms of framerate, getting close but not always quite reaching a steady 60 fps. The framerate is the most obvious improvement compared to the Wii U version, since the game doesn’t seem to have received many visual improvements otherwise. Check out Digital Foundry’s video below for their full analysis:

Background details on the Highland and Sunland regions in Project Octopath Traveler
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 1 Comment
Square Enix has provided some background information about two regions in Project Octopath Traveler. New details have been published about the Highland and Sunland regions.
Here’s the full rundown:
Highland Region
A mountainous region located at the southeastern part of Olstera continent. It was occupied by the Holnberg Kingdom, which despite having a proud history for 200 years, was destroyed eight years ago due to internal strife. Since then, warlords had been fighting each other in order to obtain control, which continues to this day. In the high and steep mountains, the main industry is cultivating vegetables and fruits suitable for dairy and highlands life. Also, they have started producing parchment from high-quality timber, and they have towns like Stonegard which have a gathering of book factories.
Sunland Region
A vast desert region located at the southern part of Olstera. It has been a subject of repeated conquests and subjugations by twelve tribes over a small oasis. However, about 100 years ago, the Yashum tribe from Marsalim Town worked to form a truce among the tribes. They became united as the United Kingdom of Tribria. Since then, the people vote every four years to decide on a king from one of the tribes. The current king is Karim, the leader of Yashum tribe.
