Taiko Drum Master: Nintendo Switch Version! had previously been announced only for a Japanese release. Today though, Bandai Namco revealed that an English version is being prepared for Asia. A release is planned for August 9.
Japan is getting Taiko Drum Master: Nintendo Switch Version! slightly earlier on July 19. It will feature Japanese voice-overs along with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean text. English text will be included in a free patch on August 9.
Fragment of Marine is coming to Switch, MediaScape has announced. It’s due out this summer in Japan as a digital download.
A western version has not yet been announced. However, it has been distributed in English on other platforms, so it’s certainly possible.

Anker Innovations has announced a partnership with Nintendo that will see the release of portable power banks for Switch. The PowerCore 20100 and PowerCore 13400 Nintendo Switch Edition will be the first-ever officially licensed Nintendo batteries to bring USB-C power delivery to system, providing players up to 15 hours of additional playtime.

Last month, Kemco announced Saiaku Naru Saiyaku Ningen ni Sasagu for PlayStation 4. The visual novel, otherwise known as Dedication to the Person who is the Worst Disaster, is now confirmed for Switch as well.
Kemco is working with Water Phoenix on Saiaku Naru Saiyaku Ningen ni Sasagu, which is supervised by Rei-Jin-G-Lu-P scenario writer Amphibian. In the game, a girl named Kuro is able to move between five different worlds but can’t be seen by anyone other than Hyouma. Meanwhile, Hyouma can’t see any living thing other than Kuro. After the two get close, a disaster befalls them.
Saiaku Naru Saiyaku Ningen ni Sasagu will release digitally at the end of September on the Japanese eShop.
Just when we thought that we’ve seen it all when it comes to Zelda: Breath of the Wild mods, the community continues to surprise. The latest effort allows for a battle between Mario and Bowser.
Mario, of course, has been swapped out with Link’s model. Fans have gone a step further by having Bowser’s design take the place for Hinox.
The next big update has gone live in Fire Emblem Heroes. Version 2.6.0 has started distribution on both iOS and Android.

Darkestville Castle appears to be getting a Switch version. Buka Entertainment shared the photo above on Twitter a few hours ago, but didn’t get into any specifics.
Darkestville Castle is a point-and-click adventure game inspired by the likes of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. We have more details and a trailer for the project below.
Nintendo is hosting the Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 at E3 next week. Top players from around the world will be going head to head in what will be the first time the Smash Bros. game for Switch is featured in a competitive setting.
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Nintendo’s director of product marketing manager Bill Trinen spoke about the tournament a bit further. On Nintendo’s goal for the event, Trinen said:
When Nintendo initially spoke about its E3 plans a few weeks ago, it was confirmed that Nintendo NY would have some of its usual activities for the show. An official schedule for the different events has now been provided.
Nintendo NY will be streaming everything, including the Nintendo Direct, Treehouse coverage, and Splatoon 2 / Smash Bros. tournaments. Smash Bros. for Switch and Mario Tennis Aces will also be playable.
