After being denied certification for a Wii U release previously, Hive Jump is progressing towards an eShop release with a second attempt at receiving certification after a round of bug fixing. In a recent Kickstarter update to backers, Graphite Lab announced that they’re now just waiting on word from Nintendo.

Our last update explained some of the issues we faced with our first run through certification. We’re happy to share that we’ve fixed those issues (and a few more that we’d uncovered along the way). We’ve submitted once again to Nintendo and are anxiously awaiting approval!

Hopefully this means we’ll soon see Hive Jump on Wii U.

Saber Interactive is putting the newly-announced offer in place as a way of showing its appreciation to the community. This promotion will only be available on Nintendo’s platform.

Saber CEO Matthew Karch said in a statement:

A little while back, Choice Provisions teased a new playable world in Runner3. The reveal took place today, with Machineland being announced.

Here’s what Choice Provisions shared about the new area:

“Machineland is not exactly paradise, as evidenced by the cigar-smoking smokestack Titans shown above. It’s cold, it’s smelly, and it’s polluted. As such, what better place is there for CommanderVideo and friends to spread their special brand of cheer?”

Choice Provisions also said today that Runner3 is in the “homestretch of development”. You can count on much more information in the weeks and months ahead.

New details about Lost Sphear, Square Enix and Tokyo RPG Factory’s new Switch RPG, are included in this week’s Famitsu. We’ve rounded up the information as translated by Siliconera below.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick spoke during a technology event earlier today. One topic discussed was none other than Switch.

Zelnick expressed interest in Switch, stating that Take-Two believes in the system. He also acknowledged the “very successful launch.” As far as support goes, Take-Two won’t be putting everything on Switch, but will bring out select tieles.

Zelnick’s full words:

“We believe in it. We see it the way [Nintendo does]; it’s been a very successful launch. It remains to be seen how it does, but we’re excited about it. Assuming there is an installed base, we’ll be there. Not with all of our titles, but selectively.”
