Fans have been waiting a long time for SteamWorld Heist, but by all accounts, the game should still be releasing this year. Nothing is set yet, but Image & Form hopes to have the game done in a couple of months. CEO Brjann Sigurgeirsson told Gamer Professionals, “Our goal is to aim for a release in early December… but I won’t make promises.”
That window should mainly apply to the 3DS eShop. A Wii U version is planned as well, but the game will only be out on Nintendo’s handheld at launch.
Zelda fans in France have an opportunity to obtain a poster by pre-ordering Tri Force Heroes at select retailers. Each poster will be numbered. As of now, no pre-order bonuses have been announced for North America.

Wicked Monsters Blast! HD Plus is due out on the European Wii U eShop this Thursday (presumably North America won’t be too far behind). Take a look at the official trailer below.

An image surfaced yesterday of Mega Yarn Yoshi on the Toys “R” Us holiday big book. Given today’s information, it now makes sense that they’d want to feature the amiibo prominently in its promotional materials.
The inclusion of online multiplayer in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes can be at least partially attributed to feedback Nintendo received from Four Swords Anniversary Edition. In an interview with 4Gamer, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma mentioned that the team learned via surveys on Club Nintendo that players wondered about the lack of Internet functionality within the DSiWare title. With Tri Force Heroes, the team wanted to make sure that online support would be integrated.

We’ve also received confirmation that, in addition to the characters native to this Play Set, fans can unlock and use all other Star Wars characters from Twilight of the Republic and Rise Against The Empire. The Star Wars Rebels characters are also compatible.

Playable characters include Finn, a soldier on a path to adventure and danger, and Rey, a true survivor who is resourceful and capable. Both will join Poe Dameron, the trusted pilot of the Resistance who uses his expert flying skills to travel the galaxy, and Kylo Ren, an enforcer for the First Order who terrorizes the galaxy with devious acts.”
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set launches on December 18 for $34.99. The Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren character figures ($13.99 each) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens themed Power Disc Pack ($9.99) will be sold separately.
