Media Create has shared a little extra additional information about Fire Emblem Fates’ debut sales in Japan.

As mentioned earlier this week, the game managed to sell over 300,000 units. Birthright sold a bit more out of the two versions, with Media Create reporting that it moved 154,000 copies. On the other hand, Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest sold 107,000 units. The Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition chipped in with another 43,000 copies.

Fire Emblem Fates managed to outdo its predecessor, Fire Emblem: Awakening, in terms of first week sales – 304,000 units vs. 243,000 units. It’s also worth mentioning that lifetime sales of Awakening in Japan are at 492,000 copies sold.

Media Create didn’t provide a sell-through rate for Fire Emblem Fates, but Dengeki has come through with that information. According to the site, visible buzz surrounding the game allowed it to sell through 90 percent of its initial stock.

Nintendo has given Super Smash Bros. for Wii U a new update. Players can download the latest patch now, which is version 1.0.9.

Today’s update is on the simpler side of things. Nintendo’s official notice is as follows: “Adjustments have been made for a more pleasant gaming experience.”

That’s it – at least in terms of what Nintendo is saying. I’m sure people will be poking through the files to see if there are any changes to things like character stats.

Suda51 has long talked about making a third No More Heroes game. His interest in doing so hasn’t diminished in recent years, but the game likely won’t be realized anytime soon.

While speaking with GameReactor, Suda51 joked about how No More Heroes 3 probably won’t happen “within 15 to 25 years”.

He said:

“Yeah, No More Heroes 3, I get a lot of requests from fans and I’m very grateful for that, but I’m thinking it may happen within 15 years or so? (laughs). Maybe not through Kickstarter, but GungHo would of course be supportive if that were to happen. I think I have the vision that Travis forgot something, so I really have to have him to go back and get back what he has forgotten. But yeah, I definitely want to make it possible, but I also want to create something new, so maybe within 15 to 25 years (laughs)!”
