There’s been a lot of talk as of late that Ubisoft may finally be ready to announce a release date for Watch Dogs. Also, it’d be nice to get a new look at the game following Ubisoft’s silence since last year’s delay.
For a very brief period last year, Club Nintendo received a Luigi figurine reward. Although it costed 1,500 coins, it sold out within a matter of days.
Nintendo said it would begin sending out the Luigi figurines in March. That month is now here, and the items are starting to ship. If you ordered one, you should be seeing it in your mailbox soon!
Yanim Studio launched a Kickstarter campaign today for “Red Goddess”, a new action-adventure title “with distinctive atmosphere and gameplay.” Players will be experiencing the role of teen goddess Divine as they “explore her mind, deep inside the subconscious, and find fragments of her memory.”
The good news? Red Goddess has a Wii U stretch goal on Kickstarter. The bad news? It’s set at $400,000.
Yanim will have a lot of work ahead as it first attempts to raise $50,000 for the base goal prior to April 9.
USGamer has a few new quotes from Nintendo’s Kensuke Tanabe and Retro’s Michael Kelbaugh. Between the two, they commented on tutorials, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and the possibility of returning to Metroid one day. You’ll find a roundup of the quotes below.
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse doesn’t look like it’ll make its winter release window. On Twitter, WayForward said that the game requires “a couple more months” of development while the team puts on “a few finishing touches.”
The message states:
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse will be in development for a couple more months while we add a few finishing touches. Almost there!
