DLC

Nintendo has announced a new track for Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack. Yoshi Circuit, which first appeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, will be included. You can get a look at the revamped track in the video below.

There’s more talk going around about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS potentially supporting DLC.

Messages have apparently been found in the 3DS version that could be used to create data for downloadable content, for instance. Other recently-discovered code could allow for character and stage DLC to be loaded.

Rumor has it that the shop will be titled “Notifications Shop” – at least in Japanese.

Will any of this pan out? Will Smash Bros. actually get any DLC? Only time will tell…

Nintendo posted a new piece of Mario Kart 8 DLC art today showcasing the Animal Crossing DLC. The new content will launch in May of next year.

Nintendo has revealed a new element of Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack. Players will be able to use the “Master Cycle” – a special vehicle created specifically for the DLC.

Mario Kart 8’s debut DLC pack launches next month. A specific release date has not yet been announced.

The free Mercedes-Benz DLC for Mario Kart 8 has been downloaded over one million times, Nintendo announced today. That’s a worldwide figure since the content launched in August. If players have yet to download the DLC, Nintendo advises them to give it a try.
