Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.1

Original: Nintendo announced a new 9.0.1 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate yesterday, and it has now gone live. All players can access today’s patch now.

We’re still waiting on today’s patch notes, but today’s adjustments pretty much all come down to the game’s newest DLC character, Steve/Alex. Among them is a change in one of the fighter’s win screens. There’s been a lot of talk about it being a bit suggestive, so Nintendo decided to implement a change.

Original: Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are about to receive their second and final expansion. The Crown Tundra is releasing in just a couple of days, though some very noteworthy details and images have leaked online ahead of time.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

CD Projekt Red has updated the Switch version of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. With version 1.0.2, saves are now compatible with Steam and GOG.com, meaning progress can be transferred between platforms.

Balan Wonderworld

Square Enix has posted the opening movie for Balan Wonderworld, the 3D platformer coming from Sonic the Hedgehog creator Yuji Naka. Watch it below.

Nintendo has uploaded the third “Untold Chronicles From 100 Years Past” trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which shows off familiar faces, hidden surprises, and using Sheikah powers in new ways. Check it out below.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is slated for November 20 on Switch.

Mages. has announced Corpse Party Blood covered: …Repeated fear., a new version of the survival horror adventure game. A release is planned for 2020 in Japan.

The game was previously made available on 3DS, and was known in the west as simply “Corpse Party”. For the new Switch version, Mages. is planning the following:
