Drawn to Life: Two Realms

The Drawn to Life franchise received a number of games during the Wii and DS days, but it’s been largely dormant over the past few years. Now, however, 505 Games and Digital Continue are bringing the IP back with a brand new entry titled Two Realms.

Digital Continue founder Joseph Tringali, who has served as an executive producer on the previous Drawn to Life games, recently spoke with us about the new title for Switch and the series in general. We asked about the possibility of past entries appearing on Nintendo’s current console, to which he said that’s something he’d be interested in. Fans should also be happy to hear that Tringali hopes to create a bigger sequel one day if Two Realms turns out to be a success.

Tringali told Nintendo Everything:

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

When you think of third-party games on Nintendo systems, LEGO is one of the first things that may come to mind. After all, we’ve seen numerous titles on the Big N’s systems going back to the N64. It also helps that several LEGO games tend to release each generation.

Given all of this information, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that LEGO is the best-selling third-party franchise on Nintendo platforms. That’s according to the NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella.

Piscatella shared a couple of other noteworthy tidbits as well. LEGO is the ninth-biggest video game franchise in history in terms of dollar sales. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, LEGO Batman, and LEGO Star Wars II are the best-selling entries.

Okami HD

The recent Capcom leaks did more than just expose a number of upcoming games. Various sales data was also contained in the content breach, including the performance of Okami HD.

Okami HD has ended up on several platforms, but it turns out that it did the best on Nintendo’s console. On Switch, the game sold 600,000 copies. That’s more than any other system by a decent amount.

Here’s the full breakdown by platform:

Earlier this year, Ryan Hernandez pleaded guilty to federal crimes related to a Nintendo computer hacking scheme. Hernandez had leaked pre-release information about Switch, and despite a warning that followed, later hacked into multiple Nintendo servers and stole confidential information about games, consoles, and developer tools.

Today, Hernandez was sentenced to three years in prison “for federal crimes related to his computer hacking scheme and his possession of child pornography found on his digital devices”. He also agreed to pay $259,323 to Nintendo in damages. Once the sentence is up, Hernandez will carry out seven years of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender.
