Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News, Videos | 0 comments
The E3 2019 press conferences and presentations are closing out with a final broadcast from Nintendo. Today’s Nintendo Direct goes live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.
Nintendo has been quiet on what will be shown here aside from a focus on 2019 titles. That means you’ll likely be hearing more about games such as Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Pokemon Sword/Shield, and Astral Chain. A new announcement or two is probably in the cards as well.
We have a live stream for today’s Nintendo Direct below (which also includes activities for the first day Treehouse: Live), along with a live blog. Posts will also be made separately during and after the show.
Nintendo sent a cease & desist letter to a prominent E3 leaker ahead of the Nintendo Direct tomorrow
Posted on 5 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
If you’ve been following the general E3 coverage this year so far, you’ll know that many major announcements from various companies have leaked in advance – and much of it came from one source, a leaker known as Sabi on Twitter. Nintendo’s big E3 Nintendo Direct is tomorrow, and it seems like they weren’t going to take any chances: Sabi stated on Twitter that she has received a cease & desist letter from a lawyer representing Nintendo, meaning that she’s not allowed to reveal any private trade secrets of Nintendo Co., Ltd. According to some further posts on her account, she said she’ll stick to that, although she said she will continue to leak announcements from other companies (which might include games coming to Nintendo Switch).
Seems like Nintendo has some surprising announcements in store for tomorrow if they’re taking such actions.

Nintendo says it’s always looking for ways to be inclusive of all gamers, “evaluating different technologies to expand accessibility options”
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Accessibility has become a more prominent topic in the gaming industry over the past few years. While many are able to play games without hurdles, that isn’t the case for everyone. Fortunately, we’ve started to see companies like Microsoft come up with products such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller for those with disabilities.
What about Nintendo? Unfortunately, COO Steven Spohn told Game Informer that discussions with Nintendo of America about promoting accessibility tend to go nowhere when “corporate gets involved.” He said, “We have tried reaching out to Nintendo on the corporate level only to be met with silence.”
