As of that date, they report total sales of over 440 million units of Pokemon-related software, which is an increase of 60 million units when compared to last year’s figures. We know that of these figures, at least 12.64 million copies of Pokemon Legends: Arceus were sold, as well as 14.65 million copies of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. With the worldwide release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet scheduled for November 18 this year, it’s likely that these numbers will only continue to grow.

This report follows their recent financial earnings reports for the previous year, which show that all of its numbers essentially doubled on the previous year.

Both of these names have been spotted in the U.S. trademark database under the page for the film. The thought is that Nintendo will be listing its movies under Nintendo Studios and M Brothers Productions going forward, as both should be specifically for visual content production.
Five Nintendo franchises that would make for a great movie

The Mario movie is coming out next year and while very little is known about it, its delay in April hasn’t given Nintendo fans a lot of confidence in the production. Of course, it’s too early to tell if it will be a good movie or not, but what is interesting to discuss is what other Nintendo properties would be good movies.
When we consider this, it’s fair to ask – what makes a “good” movie? Is it the plot, memorable characters, an amazing soundtrack, or lots of Morbin’? I would say all that helps (especially the Morbin’), but when it comes to conceptualizing a movie from a video game, there’s a greater thing to consider: how does the core premise fits into a cinematic wrapper?

Before the pandemic, Nintendo had a pretty big presence at Gamescom, but it won’t be involved with the show for 2022.
The company had playable games, stage shows with news and announcements, and more in previous years. Unfortunately though, that won’t be the case for 2022.
