When we last heard about Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, the game was on track for an early 2021 release. However, that will no longer be happening.

In a statement today, Koei Tecmo said “the team is still working hard on delivering the best game possible”. A new launch window will be shared in the future.

Legend of Makai

Hamster is bringing Arcade Archives Legend of Makai to Switch this week, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for March 4.

Legend of Makai was made by NMK and published by Jaleco in 1988. The action-adventure platformer has players setting out on a quest to defeat an evil wizard and save a princess.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Legend of Makai is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

FuRyu will be releasing Fishing Fighters in Japan before the month’s end, so reveals this week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu. The game can currently be preordered at a 1,760 yen discounted price, and will afterward be available for for 2,200 yen. Take a look at the small overview below via Gematsu:

Fishing Fighters takes place across various fishing spots such as lakes and oceans. In Story Mode, you compete in a fishing tournament featuring the “sexy beauty” Angel, the “beautiful girl” Echika, and a mysterious masked man and rival known as “The Fisher.” There is also an eight-player battle mode.
