It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is back at the top for Switch titles while Metroid Dread enters the top ten for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between July 29 and August 4.

Iconoclasts

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include Iconoclasts, John Wick Hex, Narita Boy, Nexomon: Extinction, OlliOlli: Switch Stance, Pumpkin Jack, Roki, Trine games, and more.

RPG Maker MV

RPG Maker MV users have more to play around with thanks to a number of new DLC packs. These are comprised of monsters, maps, and more.

Four packs just went live to close out the week. Another batch is planned for November 4.

The Garden Path

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, The Garden Path will be made for Switch.

Developer carrotcake not only managed to reach its initial £20,000 funding goal, but ended up with just over £30,000. The full, original vision for the project can now be realized, and the game will also now feature local multiplayer.

Space Scavenger

Red Cabin Games brought Space Scavenger, an action roguelike, to Switch a couple of days ago. We now have some footage in the video below.

If you’re interested in Space Scavenger, you can pick it up from the Switch eShop. You can also find more on the game here.

Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, Aniplex and Type-Moon’s visual novel title, was given a pair of commercials over the weekend. The adverts highlighting the game’s Aruceid route “Moon Princess” and Ciel route “Rainbow of Night” can be found below.

Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon launches for Switch in Japan on August 26. At the moment, there’s no word on a western release.

505 Games has announced its lineup for Gamescom 2021.

Four titles will be featured, including a couple that are in the works for Switch. Grow: Song of the Evertree, Re:Legend, Assetto Corsa: Competizione, and Rogue Spirit will have a presence at the event.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will reveal another character at Gamescom: Opening Night Live, host Geoff Keighley has confirmed.

Some interesting SEGA crossovers have been confirmed in recent weeks. They include Sonic and Tails, Beat from Jet Set Radio, and Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza.

Gamescom: Opening Night Live will take place on August 25 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be appearing during the show.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus

We’ve had a couple of major looks at Pokemon Legends: Arceus thus far. Our first glimpse at the game came back in February as part of the initial reveal. Then just this week, another trailer arrived with a look at gameplay as well.

It’s unclear how many Pokemon will be included in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. But based on what’s been shown and said thus far, we’ve compiled an initial list.
