A new Max Raid Battle event has just gone live in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. This time around, there’s a summer theme going.
Seaking, Pinsir, Heracross, Ninjask, Fan Rotom, and Vanilluxe are appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles. If you’re lucky enough, a Shiny Vanilluxe may appear.

Arietta of Spirits launches on Switch this month

Red Art Games, in partnership with Third Spirit Games, today set a release date for Arietta of Spirits. The game will initially launch for Switch as a digital download on August 20.
Arietta of Spirits will follow physically at a later date. Pre-orders are currently open on the Red Art Games store.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town will be receiving its new 1.0.7 update in North America and Europe this month, XSEED and Marvelous has announced. It adds features such as the Chat Camera setting and new expressions for townspeople during conversations.

Evil Dead: The Game delayed to February 2022

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are delaying the launch of Evil Dead: The Game. It’s now planned for February 2022, the companies announced today.
The team intends to use the extra time to include a single-player option “that will let you enjoy the game when you are without your co-op compadres.”

Switch has outsold the PS3 and Xbox 360, Nintendo consoles / handhelds surpass 800 million units

Today’s financial report from Nintendo has brought along a couple of notable sales milestones.
First up, Switch has shipped more than 89 million units, which means it’s now the seventh best-selling console of all time. It has outsold the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which ended their runs at 87.4 million and 86 million units respectively.
Nintendo also reached the mark of having sold over 800 million pieces of consoles / handhelds. This includes standalone devices such as Switch, Wii, and DS, but not the likes of Game & Watch and plug & play retro consoles.
