Koei Tecmo’s initial TGS 2020 Online lineup

Koei Tecmo today unveiled its initial lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. Thus far, we have confirmation that Atelier Ryza 2 will be shown, but we’ll also be seeing brand new Dynasty Warriors series games and more.

FiNC HOME FiT coming to Switch

Square Enix – TGS lineup and schedule announced

Square Enix has released their featured games along with a schedule for Tokyo Game Show 2020. TGS 2020 will be online this year, and runs September 24 to 27. Square Enix will be seeing a large amount of features this year, including several mobile titles and a heck of a lot of Dragon Quest. Switch titles like Collection of Saga: Final Fantasy Legend, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, and other Japan exclusive games will see the spotlight. Sonic Forces + Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Double Pack boxart, pre-orders open

Amazon has posted the boxart for Sonic Forces + Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Double Pack, which appears to be on track for October 26. Pre-orders are open here.
Also remember that SEGA has another similar release incoming with the Sonic Mania + Team Sonic Racing Double Pack. That one should arrive on the same day as well. If you’d like to pre-order, you can reserve that one here.
Zoids Wild: Infinity Blast due out for Switch in Japan this November

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have updated, which have cycled out the current event for Max Raid Battles.
One of the main highlights is that in Pokemon Sword, Gigantamax Appletun and Gigantamax Toxtricity (Low Key Form) encounters will be more common. For Pokemon Shield, it’s Gigantamax Flapple and Gigantamax Toxtricity (Amped Form).

Paper Mario: The Origami King datamine suggests the team considered implementing experience points

Paper Mario: The Origami King doesn’t have a traditional experience points system. When you win a battle, you instead receive coins and confetti. However, at one point, implementing experience points during development may have been a possibility.
Fans have picked up on that information based on a datamine of the game’s save file. Interestingly enough, one of the variables included is “battle_win_exP”. It’s included in the final game and can be easily seen by opening up the save file data in a program like Notepad.

Dragon Ball FighterZ now dealing with rage quitters, could face permanent ban

Dragon Ball FighterZ is taking action against rage quitters. According to an in-game notice, players “who deliberately disconnect during online matches” will be subject to a temporary ban, which lasts about a week. Those that are repeatedly doing so may face a permanent ban.
